The AANS/CNS Section on Pediatric Neurological Surgery offers a dedicated educational seminar for the Advanced Practice Providers (APP). The seminar utilizes case presentations of pediatric neurosurgical patients in a series of lectures to highlight current clinical evidence based management and future research. New this year, a round table afternoon for collaborative learning and networking.
Learning Objectives:
  • Apply principles of updated, evidence-based practice guidelines for treatment of neurosurgical disease processes.
  • Identify pediatric radiographic abnormalities and determine appropriate studies needed to evaluate these abnormalities.
  • Describe the scope of APP utilization in pediatric practices.
  • Recognize pediatric neurosurgical approaches to major medical conditions from a national perspective.
