Susan R. Durham, MD, FAANS
Dr. Durham is the J. Gordon McComb Family endowed chair and chief of the division of neurosurgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles/University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She is a board-certified pediatric neurosurgeon and completed a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at CHLA and a fellowship in peripheral nerve surgery with Dr. David Kline at Louisiana State University. Prior to joining CHLA, she was chief of neurosurgery at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Her clinical interests include craniosynostosis, neural tube defects, pediatric brachial plexus and peripheral nerve disorders. Her research interests include gender- and education-related issues in neurosurgery. Dr. Durham currently serves as chair of the Education Committee of the Pediatric Section.
