Ralph P. Ermoian, MD
Dr. Ermoian is an associate professor of radiation oncology at the University of Washington (UW). He attended Stanford University, where he majored in political science and civil engineering. He practiced environmental engineering for a few years before deciding to go to medical school, which he eventually attended at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Ermoian completed an internship at Children’s Hospital Boston and general pediatrics residency at UCSF before radiation oncology residency at the UW, where he subsequently stayed on faculty. He sees patients at the University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle Children’s Hospital and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Proton Therapy, treating with photons and protons. His academic interests and research include pediatric cancer, medical education and patient safety. He is the senior editor for Pediatrics/Sarcoma of the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics.
