Kathleen Dorris, MD
Dr. Dorris is currently an associate professor of pediatrics at University of Colorado School of Medicine and an attending physician in the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO). She is a member of the pediatric neuro-oncology and experimental therapeutics groups at CHCO. Dr. Dorris has an interest in clinical research in developmental therapeutics and pediatric neuro-oncology and she is the clinical trials in neuro-oncology leader at CHCO; thus, she is the local principal investigator on numerous multi-institutional clinical trials and institutional investigator-initiated clinical trials. Dr. Dorris is CHCO’s site principal investigator for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium (PBTC) and COllaborative Network for NEuro-oncology Clinical Trials (CONNECT). She is engaged in the teaching and mentorship of medical trainees at multiple levels of education and also functions as the pediatric neuro-oncology fellowship director at CHCO. Additionally, she has served as the education chair for the 2018 International Symposium on Pediatric Neuro-Oncology.
