Meleine Martinez Sosa, MD

Dr. Martinez Sosa is currently a pediatric neurosurgery fellow at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, she completed her undergraduate studies in biology and neuroscience at Columbia University. She attended medical school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Martinez Sosa completed neurosurgery residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa and during her elective year in residency she explored her interest in pediatric neurosurgery with a focus on intramedullary spinal cord tumors under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. George Jallo. During her fellowship year, she will continue refining her clinical, surgical, investigative and leadership skills in the hopes of one day providing patients and their families the best medical care possible.
