Elsa Olson attended Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with the highest departmental honors with a BS in neuroscience. She is now in her third year at University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. During medical school, she has been involved in research endeavors including reperfusion injury following ischemia, occlusion of shunts used to treat hydrocephalus and stereotactic EEG monitoring.
