Katherine Kelly
Katherine Kelly is a fourth year medical student at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine who is planning to pursue a career in neurosurgery. Her research interests includes examining socioeconomic health disparities in pediatric neurosurgery and she is obtaining a certificate in health equity in addition to her medical degree. She spent the beginning of this year with the local neurosurgical team in Lusaka, Zambia, and she has been studying the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic at her institution.
