Dr. Iqbal developed an early interest in neurosurgery in high school and attended St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. His interest in pediatric neurosurgery brought him to London, where he completed an enfolded pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children during his fifth year of residency under Dachling Pang, MD, FAANS(L). He also completed an enfolded fellowship in pediatric spine deformity at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia under Amer Samdani, MD, FAANS. Dr. Igbal is interested in pursuing an academic career in pediatric neurosurgery with an emphasis on the pediatric spine and epilepsy.
