Michael Partington, MD, FAANS
Dr. Partington is a pediatric neurosurgeon at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. His neurosurgery residency was at Mayo Clinic, followed by a pediatric fellowship at Children’s Memorial (Lurie Children’s) in Chicago. He joined the faculty of the University of Colorado and then worked at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, Minn. At Gillette, much of his practice was focused on the care of children with cerebral palsy and spina bifida. He moved to Kansas City to continue work in this area. He is also a clinical associate professor of neurosurgery at KU School of Medicine and is involved in the Cerebral Palsy Research Network and the Spina Bifida Association.
