John Heymann MD

Dr. Heymann completed his medical school training at the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston (UTMB), graduating with High Honors and as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at UTMB and a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and carries a Certification of Added Qualification in the subspecialty of Neuroradiology.
Dr. Heymann has been in faculty practice as an academic Neuroradiologist at UTMB since 2016 where he is an Associate Professor, serves as the Program Director for the radiology residency and is the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations for the Radiology Department. He is actively engaged in resident and fellow education, and this is his sixth year lecturing for the AANS Advanced Practice Provider course.
