Laura E. Prado DNP, NP

Laura Ellen Prado, DNP NP currently works as an APP in neurocritical care in Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA after transitioning from Atlanta Brain and Spine with 20 years working with Regis Haid, MD. She continues to work prn with Atlanta Brain and Spine assisting with complex spine cases. She completed her BSN, MSN and DNP degrees at Emory University, in addition to a BS degree in psychology from Wittenberg University in Ohio. She currently is co-director of “AANS Neurosurgical Topics for Advanced Practitioner”, co-chair of Advanced Practitioner Education Subcommittee and liaison to the AANS Education Committee. She enjoys traveling with her husband anywhere they can go.
