As a board-certified neurosurgeon at Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates, Michael Bohl, MD, provides adult and pediatric neurosurgical care. His clinical practice is in the treatment of adult and pediatric spinal deformities and other complex pathologies. Dr. Bohl has a diverse educational background, including completing an orthopedic spinal deformity fellowship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA, attending residency at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ and graduating medical school at University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Bohl is also a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He served two combat deployments to Iraq and was involved in humanitarian aid missions in East Africa in the early 2000s. He currently serves as Assistant Program Director for the CNSA neurosurgery residency program, as well as Vice Chief of the CNSA spine program.
