Peter B. Dirks, MD

Dr. Dirks is professor and chief of neurosurgery at the Hospital for Sick Children at the University of Toronto. His clinical interests are in surgical neuro-oncology and in surgery of pediatric vascular disorders. He leads a basic and translational research laboratory studying brain tumors of children and adults, with a focus on their essential stem cell and developmental properties.
